Spectrum Dyes And Chemicals: Capacity expansion – 28 Jun 2022

Spectrum, the flagship company of the Surat-based Pratibha Group, is the second-largest manufacturer of dispersed dyes in India which are used in the dyeing and printing of polyester fibre. It manufactures around 175 different shades of dispersed dyes and dye intermediates. The company had undertaken to increase its capacity from 23,400 MTPA to 35,400 MTPA. The operation of the new plant has been stabilized and it has exhibited healthy capacity utilization in the range of 75-80% in the March-May 2022 period which is expected to support its growth in the near term
