Drilling and drifting works at the site were completed. Geo-technical investigation and topographical survey were completed at the site and it was approved by GSI. The owner has planned to come up with a package-wise tender mode.

Greenfield Pumped Storage Project: What is ahead?

Project Cost: Rs 4500.00 Crores

Project Description: TCE Ltd. has prepared the PFR for the same. TOR for the same was granted by the MOEF. The capital approval of the same was granted by the state cabinet committee in July 2021. Forest clearance stage-1 was pending at the regional office. Geotechnical Investigation and topographical surveys are in progress. M/S Ramkey Enviro Services was selected as an EIA consultant for the same. The owner has selected Mantec Consultants for DPR. Preparation of tender is yet to start for the Drilling works. Further bids are expected soon.

Project Name: Construction of 400 kV DC T/L

Project Cost: 324.32 Crores

Project Description: The total length for the transmission is 132 kM. Detailed survey and investigation are in progress and it is in the advanced stage for completion. The approval from the NOC from the Inland Waterway Authority of India is pending. Forest clearance stage -1 has been granted and stage -2 for the same is pending at DFO. The land acquisition was completed for the substation and pooling station. But land acquisition for tower erection is in progress. Detailed engineering was completed for the 220/132kV substation at Nangalbibra and the detailed engineering works are in progress for sub-station works at the Bongaion S/S. Stringing works is yet to start. Approval from the civil aviation, defense, and PTCC is pending. Preparation of tender is in progress for the 400 kV P/S works. Further bids are expected soon.
