ONGC's UD field: Contract awarded – 2 May 2022

ONGC's UD field (Cluster-III) discovery in its KG-DWN-98/2 block is among the deepest in the world, with water depth reaching from 2840 m to 2500 m over a 50 km distance and 2000 m over an 85 km distance.

It is one of its kind in the world

Clearly, higher gas prices is encouraging ONGC to explore the possibility of tapping in to the field.

And the first contract for this has been awarded recently
