GAIL picks up more spot cargoes – 2 May 2022

India's state-owned gas distributor Gail has purchased a cargo for delivery over 10-20 May to the Hazira terminal at a price of around $29/mmbtu, though a tender which closed on 7 April.

This is the firm’s second purchase in the past week alone, as it sought to fulfill downstream commitments made to its customers in the fertilizers sector

Relatively lower prices for most of this week has encouraged Gail to pick up more spot cargoes
