CGD: Companies struggle with gas allocation and pricing – 3 Mar 2022

The city gas distribution companies are facing an uphill battle.

APM allocations which were curtailed during COVID have not been raised as yet now that demand for CNG has flared up. There has been delays of a few months in this revision

And the gap had to be plugged using spot gas

There is now going to be an increase in APM gas price as well

For industrial and commercial supplies, all supplies are not backed with long term contracts, so there is a problem there too
