India's global oil & gas space: Increasing erosion – 16 Feb 2022

The US is the largest producer of oil in the world, and India is now more aligned to the US than at any other point in terms, pushed perhaps by geo-political concerns.

But increasingly, newer relationships are getting forged all over the world where India is not in the picture.

There is a China-Iran, China-Iraq, China-Russia, China-Saudi Arabia angle to many energy deals

And while India is increasingly aligned towards the US geo-politically and economically, China seems to be marching ahead of us in the spaces where we were present earlie
