IGX clearly has the first mover advantage in the gas exchange, so much so that entry barriers have already come up.

The government is not, for now, going back on providing a safety valve from gas price caps to producers and suppliers through the exchange, that had seen trading volumes flare up

Though the manner in which some of the players have played the game of buying cheap and selling high at the exchange had the mandarins in Shastri Bhavan see red, all that was handed out was a light tap on the knuckles
