Ex Oil & Gas Secretary Tarun Kapoor to head ETAC – 3 Jan 2022

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (P&NG) has constituted an Energy Transition Advisory Committee (ETAC) to lay down the policy framework for moving the country and the economy from fossil fuels to clean energy. This step has been long overdue to enable the country to meet its net carbon emission commitment under the Paris Accord.
