EVA price in Mumbai likely to fluctuate upwards on shortage in stocks – 13 Feb 2014

Dwindling EVA stocks in the Mumbai market have ruled out any expectation of the price going down among buyers. Some traders in the market told Indianpetrochem that demand for the raw material was moderate, while, the stocks were falling due to non-receipt of fresh material. A trader in the market told the website, "EVA stocks are falling in the market, and that might push the price up." 
 

An EVA item manufacturer in Mumbai told the website," We are currently implementing the need-based buying strategy, and the price is likely to go down once after shortage in stocks gets eased."
 

In the Mumbai market today, EVA was sold at around Rs 149-153 a kg.
