High LDPE price continues to impart considerable cost pressure on buyers – 21 Feb 2014

LDPE buyers in India are not expected to get any relief from high cost pressure in the coming days as the price is not likely to decline significantly not only due to international price influence but also on account of stocks of the polymer declining in the major markets in the country. A Delhi-based trader said," Stocks of the LDPE material have been dwindling, and demand for the polymer is also not much active these days, due to the price continuing to be high." 
 

In the Delhi and Mumbai markets, the LDPE material was sold at around Rs 139 a kg and Rs 133 a kg respectively.
 

An LDPE processor in Delhi also said that high price of the polymer were imparting severe raw material price pressure.
