Dull PP demand conditions continue to prevail in Indian markets, no major price fluctuation likely – 13 May 2014

Demand for the PP material continues to be weak in the major polymer markets in the country. Buying has been in accordance to the immediate needs of end-users. On the prevailing market trends, a trader in the Mumbai market told Indianpetrochem," Demand for PP has undergone no improvement, and continues to be dull. Price of the polymer has also remained almost unmoved." 
 

A PP Film manufacturer also told the website that he purchased the raw material on need-basis.
 

In the Mumbai market today,  traders quoted the prices of the Film, Injection Moulding and Raffia grades of the PP material at Rs 122-123 a kg, Rs 118-119 a kg and Rs 119-120 a kg respectively.
