EVA price outlook uncertain in India, amid moderate demand conditions – 6 Jun 2014

The prevailing market conditions in respect to the EVA material pose uncertainty in possible price movements in the near future in respect to the polymer. Demand for the polymer was found to be moderate in the major markets in the country, and fluctuations in the market prices were minimal. Most traders, however, expected the demand to strength in the days to come, when off-takes from the footwear industry is expected to rise. 
 

In the Delhi market today, a trader told the website that his stocks of EVA had exhausted. He deals in the material of Hanwha Chemical Corporation, of South Korea. EVA was sold today in the market at around Rs 136.50 a kg.
 

Besides, some traders also revealed that no import shipments of the EVA material reached Indian shores in the recent past.
