Shortage of Domestic PP ,PE materials likely to push up prices of imported variants – 4 Jul 2014

Shortage of the PP and PE materials in Indianpolymer market have resulted in buyers actively purchasing imported variants.        

Traders from the Mumbai market told the website that stocks of the PP and PE materials were short in supply from all major polymer companie,s so buyers were moving to imported materials, which were available.If this situation persists, buyers expected that price of imported material will rise and traders were also were selling at higher price.

On, 4 July 2014, imported material of PP and PE were sold at 135 Rs/Kg and 127 Rs/kg respectively.
