Short supply for PVC material in Indian market; price likely to remain stable – 8 Jul 2014

Indian polymer market is seeing sluggish demand for the PVC material. Local PVC manufacturers are not allocating their goods in inadequate quantity to the buyer which results in shortage of polymer material in the market. Some market participants revels that  monsoon season in India is a time of low demand for PVC, as pipe-laying activity comes to a halt during this period. Trader as well as buyer are not seeing any possible price movement in the near future.
 

A Jaipur based trader, with whom Indianpetrochem today discussed about the ongoing market trend, said, "Demand for the PVC material has been moderate and they are not expecting further strengthen of demand in the near future on account of onset of rainy season. He was selling PVC, of RIL, at around Rs 97-98 a kg.
 

A Mumbai based trader also revels the similar market trend for the PVC material. He was selling PVC, of CGPC, at around Rs 90 a kg.
