Its quote was 2.6 times that of the L-1 bidder

Then in another EPCM bid, EIL's performance is even worse.

The new CMD will need to get the pricing right, both for EPCM and future EPC projects, because establishment cost of EIL is higher than its more agile private sector counterparts.

But, given a nationalistic government in power, will she be able to grab some projects on a nomination basis?
