India's PTA with MERCOSUR: More details – 23 Aug 2021

India has signed Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) with MERCOSUR (comprising of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) on January 25, 2004 which came into effect on 1st June 2009

India and MERCOSUR have agreed for tariff concessions ranging from 10% to 100% to the other side on 450 and 452 tariff lines respectively

But there is potential on both sides to improve trade
