Spot LNG prices are now more expensive than fuel oil

The point to note is that this difference is likely to stay on for some time

For India, this will have implications, as dual fuel furnaces may end up using more FO

Also, industrial use of gas will be that much more difficult unless strict pollution control orders are instituted for wholesale conversion of industrial hubs, as was done in the case of Morbi, to gas
