IOC: Massive expansions, acquisitions ahead – 6 Aug 2021

There are many in the downstream EPC industry who think that Indian petrochemical expansion boom is over after Panipat and CPCL projects are completed.

But they may be wrong

IOC has big plans ahead right up to 2030, including acquisitions in the chemical and petrochemical industry as it wants to foray deeper into the fine chemicals segment

Also, IOC is very ambitious about the LNG business, wants to become the dominant player, with a 40% market share

And its E&P division is looking for big acquisitions, big and small, in India and abroad
