Looks like EIL had got the pricing wrong for the EPCM for the polypropylene and catalytic dewaxing units for the Panipat refinery

It came last in the bidding for the contract

Clearly, the engineering major has high overheads, but it will have to trim down its costs and its pricing to grab consultancy contracts
