Ample stocks, uniform demand to keep Benzene price stable in India – 22 Sep 2014

Benzene prices tend to stay stable at the prevailing rates in the near future in Indian markets, ruled by uniformly moderate demand, which is expected to remain so in the next few days. Traders in the country's major markets have ample stocks in their hands, and supplies from the domestic producers were regular. The supply situation is going to stregthen further from the next week as ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL) will resume opeartions of its ideled plant.
Benzene is sold in the major markets in the country at around Rs 80 a litre (VAT exclusive).
