Tight ABS stocks in Indian markets puts raw material cost pressure on buyers – 8 Oct 2014

Tightness in stocks of the ABS material continues to prevail in Indian markets due to less arrival of imports of the engineering polymer. While, demand for the raw material has been strong on account of robust off-takes by the automotive and appliance industries. Prices of the raw material have been subjected to upward pressure in the country's markets.

The Natural and Coloured variants of the ABS are sold in the major markets in the country at around Rs 167 a kg and Rs 175 a kg respectively.
