LAB buyers to see uniform price in India, in presence of ample stocks – 14 Oct 2014

Price of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) is not expected to fluctuate remarkably in the coming days, as the prevailing demand conditions, supply situation indicate so. Traders told the website that demand conditions were of moderate levels, and they did not foresee any change in the demand pattern in the days to come. According to the traders, demand will remain moderate in the coming days in the absence of any spurt in detergent production activity. 
 

Stocks of the material are also availbale in ample with traders, according to market inputs received. Price of LAB is at Rs 118 per kg, basic of Nirma, while, the basic prices of other Indian producers are also at the same rate.
 

The current import booking price of the material is at $1,650 per metric tonne CIF.
 

As a matter of fact, prices of the imported variants of LAB are more than those of domestic variants.
