Ethyl Acetate price to stay stable, in firm demand conditions – 15 Oct 2014

Ethyl Acetate prices are currently stable in Indian markets under the influence of strong demand conditions. GNFC has quoted its basic price for the material at Rs 61.35 a kg for the Gujarat region, and at Rs 62.50 a kg for other regions in the country. The prevailing import booking price for the material is at $1,020 per metric tonne CIF.

Assessing the prevailing market conditions, it has been found that demand for Ethyl Acetate is prominent from the pesticide, ink, packaging and pharma industries in the western region; and in the norther region, the demand is emanating from the pesticide and cosmetic industries.

Market participants are expecting the demand to stay firm in the near future.
