Orpic's Sohar refinery undergoes necessary modifications in its existing plant – 30 Mar 2016

The planned turnaround at Orpic’s Sohar refinery is much more than just a normal shut down for maintenance checks.
Keeping in mind the "Sohar Refinery Improvement Project (SRIP)" which is due for commissioning this very year, the refinery has started working on possible modifications in their existing plant so that it could be easily integrated with the new units to be constructed under SRIP.
However this is turning out to be a bit more complex than the ones undertaken in past, but the management is satisfied with the progress.
