PP prices expected to further go down amid of poor demand and lower Crude oil price – 18 Nov 2014

The downward crude oil price momentum in the international market and dried out Demand situation is starting impacting the market. Domestic producers have also lowered their ex-work prices by 2-3 Rs per kg. Most of the market undergoes very Boring situation and purchasing only in need basis. End users are escaping in purchasing of material because of downward price movement in the domestic and international market. They are waiting for further descending prices.
In South East Asia, PP prices were reported to down by 40-50 $/Mt from last month and expected that will further move down.This is because of lowering crude oil price and very dull market situation.
On communication with different traders and End users indianptrochem has gathered information that polymer prices has declined in the open market by 1-2 Rs/kg. This is because of the very dull demand situation and ample stocks. Demand can take a momentum only when prices will become stable.
On, 18 November 2014. Prices of the Injection Moulding and Film grade of PP was reported at 122 Rs/Kg and 125.5 Rs/Kg respectively in Delhi.
