Iso propyl Alcohol demand slow in Indian market due downward trend of the crude oil prices which effect the chemical market. End users and importers have been avoiding any bulk purchase and market is dominated by bearish sentiment. An official from Deepak fertiliser & Petrochemicals Corporation told the website, “Demand of IPA and other solvents decreased around 10% due to plummet crude oil price and market is not showing any sign of recovery in demand in the coming weeks.”
Deepak fertiliser revised its manufactured IPA price and the latest quotation is Rs 80 per kg which declined from earlier quotation by Rs 3 a kg. Booking price of IPA weighed down by 8.3% to $1,100(CIF India) in last few weeks which cause the importers to cut their stocks of IPA.
Prevailing IPA price is in trading level of Rs. 80.5-82.5 per kg which decreased by 8.8% from last month
