IPA demand to remain stable in Indian market – 26 Dec 2014

Iso propyl Alcohol demand slow in Indian market due to southward trend of the chemical price since last few months and also the crude oil prices which effect the chemical market. End users and importers have been avoiding any bulk purchase and market is dominated by bearish sentiment. End users or buyers reduce their consumption of IPA by 40-45%.

Deepak fertiliser revised its manufactured IPA price and the latest quotation is Rs 79 per kg which declined from earlier quotation by Rs 1 a kg.
Deepak fertilizer the only producer of IPA is quoting different basic for different buyers on the basis of buying capacity.

Prevailing IPA price is in trading level of Rs. 78-80 per kg .Traders are expecting that demand will remain flat till the end of this month demand may rise in the mid of January,2015
