Domestic Polymer market likely to recur in End February – 4 Feb 2015

Polymer demand is still sluggish in the domestic market but expected may recover in coming days this is because of little bit stability in the  international market and increased crude oil price around 18%-20% from last week. Asian market prices were also reported to upward or firm from the last week. Spot polymer prices in the Indian market was also reported to steady.

increasing Crude oil prices and little bit stable offers prices is drawing interest in purchasing.Domestic producers have also rolled over their polymer prices from last week. polymer material are also under going shortage except some grade and expected remains in shortage till imported as well as domestic materials does not releases in the market.

The main reason behind the shortage of imported material is very less booking. Because of uncertain price outlook of international market. From August 2014 to January 2015, PP raffia prices have plummeted by 31%, while HDPE film prices slumped 26%.

Our sources from major market have informed that Indian suppliers may respond to a pick-up in demand with higher list prices. Stock are very short in the market. Demand is reported less and material are selling at negotiable price.

On 04 February 2015, Price of the Injection Moulding Grade of PP was reported at 97 Rs/Kg and 90 Rs/Kg respectively in Delhi market.
