MEG supply boost up in Indian market – 16 Feb 2015

Mono ethylene Glycol Supply surge up in Indian market because RIL Starting New plant of MEG in June-July2015 with capacity 32,000 metric tonne per annum- source said.

Moderate demand prevailing in the country’s market, RIL revised its MEG price to Rs 52.3per kg same price quoted by IOCL.

MEG sold at Rs 53-54 per kg Ex-Mumbai.

Import as well as domestic manufactured MEG available with traders.

Traders expecting that  MEG import will decline in coming days because RIL producing enough stock to cater the Indian market.

There are many plants going for Turn Around from August to November are as follows:

Nan Ya at Mailio 1 will Turn Around its MEG plant in November2015 for one month, the plant is at capacity of 360kt/annum.

The Plant at Mailio 2 with same capacity will go for Turn Around on 6th August2015 for one month.

The Plant at Mailio 3 with same capacity will Turn Around on 2nd October2015 for one month.

 The Plant at Mailio 4 with capacity 720kt/annum will Turn Around on 7th September2015 for one month.

China man made fibre at Koahsiung with capacity 200kt/annum of MEG will be Turn Around on 1st October2015 for one month.
