Appointment of directors in PSUs: The government has been less than mindful – 1 Jul 2021

The government should be mindful of the rules governing the appointment of directors to boards of directors of public sector companies.

For one, even for directors who have executive functions, the appointments have been delayed because there was no PESB chairman in place, and the current chairperson is not doing enough interviews to fill them up on time.
