ONGC seeks help for joint OIL-ONGC assets in the North East – 14 Jun 2021

Under intense pressure from the government, ONGC seems to have finally turned around now, and to begin with, has sought "technical" assistance to enhance the life of most of its North Eastern assets.

Help has also been sought for newly acquired assets

What is of greater interest is that OIL and ONGC are collaborating to offer joint assets for such assistance

The company has now admitted that ONGC would expect to "go along with the prospective partners towards realizing the value of these resources"

From ideating to actual implementation, it is still a long way off, but the process has begun

Hopefully, this new initiative will not fizzle out like similar ones in the past
