There is a proposal suggesting that India can produce an impossible 24 million tonnes per annum of sustainable aviation turbine fuel, far more than ever targeted before

But the suggested use of new technology seems very futuristic and the targets are, to put it mildly, bombastic, but there are interested parties pushing this proposal as India has a massive target of ferrying 100 million passengers annually, creating an unprecedented level of carbon emission
