Indian plans with ports and waterways: A full update – 27 May 2021

Indian planners have a massive plan in hand for ports and inland waterways involving multiple developments

The idea is to get India's ranking from about 40-45 to top 10 now in some of the common measurement parameters

And they want to get India's EXIM transactions through the NLP platform to more than 90 per cent

Then the idea is to have must-have signal solutions in 100% facilities

And a whole lot of other parameters are involved where improvements will be made

It makes for interesting reading, and though very ambitious and unlikely to be achieved in 10 years (which is the timeframe), there are many things to learn from it
