Shell has not been a greatly successful player in the Indian gas market

We have been highlighting the fact that its 5 MMTPA terminal has been running dry since January, based on a faulty business model

Nor is its attempt to sell gas in India been successful despite years of effort.

But the Shell boss in India, under attack for non-performance, believes demand in India for gas will come from non-traditional sources
