Dabhol terminal: GAIL trying to squeeze as much mileage as possible – 3 May 2021

The Dabhol LNG terminal seems to be still working into the first week of May. But it will not be long before pre-monsoonal weather shuts it down.

Three cargoes are linked up, the idea for GAIL is to keep its 5 MMTPA tanks filled up, so that it can keep sending LNG after the port shut downs

Due to ullage problems in Dahej, some cargoes are spilling over to Shell's Hazira terminal.

Shell has now gotten used to over the years to free loading out of Dahej spillovers and Dabhol

Meanwhile, COVID has meant that up to five LNG vessels have been diverted away from India
