Domestic production of gas: Our estimate shows a huge volume of gas coming in – 28 Apr 2021

RIL-BP's 30 mmscmd of gas, plus ONGC's 14 to 15 MMSCM of gas plus Cairn India's up to 4.5 mmscmd of gas, all of it together will cause a step-function change

And the demand side stays some what fuzzy

There are around three large projects where the total demand can go up to 10 mmsmcd. But start-up date is now put off, and may now be well into to 2022 becasue of big mess ups in construction and contracted, not helped by two rounds of COVID, when more gas will come in from indigenous sources

There are huge upsides from ONGC's West Coast fields, like the Daman upside project, all held up by the government for now because of low prevailing prices. But that cannot be held up for too long as gas is lying there waiting to be tapped

The gas pricing regime needs a complete overhaul or else there will more issues ahead

We have an estimate of how much incremental domestic gas will be available year wise in India and it is a large quantity
