Chemical industry shrunk during lock down – 15 Mar 2021

There is official confirmation now that production of major chemicals declined to 80.29lakh tonnes during 2020-21 (Up to December-2020) as compared to 90.73 lakh tonnes during the corresponding period of the previous year.

The decline recorded was 11.52%
