Only three of the country's seven terminals have active LNG unloading taking place

It is a sad commentary on the existing state of affairs

Most have evacuation problems

One, Shell Hazira, suffers from a faulty business model. Who would have thought that Shell, the global leader in gas, can get it all wrong?

In India, the LNG story is going to be a long drawn out one, it will take time for capacity utilization levels in terminals to go up, and with quite a few more terminals coming up, it is going to be a long haul indeed.

Meanwhile, Shell says it sees LNG demand doubling
