Zero cargoes at Shell's Hazira terminal: Multinational business model leaves the terminal high and dry – 18 Jan 2021

Jan 18, 2021

The latest datasheet we have is as of end of last week and that data shows Shell's Hazira terminal, otherwise busy around this time of the year, as hshowing no processing of any cargo.

It is indeed a sad testimony to the multinational driven private sector business model for LNG in India. With volumes from entities, like RIL drying up because of high prices, the terminal is left with no cargoes to handle.

The public sector bears the load. "We have not missed out on a single cargo meant for our customers in India," a 8GAIL official told this website.

Dabhol therefore has the usual GAIL cargoes coming in

In Mundra, we could track a GSPC cargo from Bonny scheduled for January 25.
