Plastic industry in deep trouble, says industry body – 4 Dec 2020

All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) in a letter urged the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to help save the plastics processing industry which is in the verge of collapse. Exponential increase in cost of raw materials (Polymers) by private companies and PSU’s have come as a tremendous blow to the 50,000 odd plastics processing units, 90% of which are MSME’s.
