Sanathan’s three director renewals face tight November approval timetable

Sanathan Textiles has approved proposed second terms for three independent directors and set a postal-ballot calendar that places the scheduled voting result just two days before their new terms would begin.

The October 15 board decision covers Khurshed Thanawalla, Debabrata Sarkar and Vinay Aggarwal. Each proposed five-year term runs from November 22, 2026 to November 21, 2031, subject to shareholder approval through special resolutions.

The accompanying calendar fixes October 16 as the voting-rights cutoff and proposes dispatch of notices on October 19. Remote voting is scheduled from October 20 at 09:00 until November 18 at 17:00. The scrutiniser’s report and declaration of results are planned for November 20.
