Verbio has commissioned its Bitterfeld ethenolysis plant after investing nearly €100 million, but commercial ramp-up will depend on customers qualifying its renewable chemical building blocks. The October 6 release puts annual capacity at up to 60,000 tonnes of bio-based chemicals.
